Refund & Cancellation Policy

Moolseva Foundation (Section 8 NGO – Rajasthan)

Last Updated: 16/11/2025

At Moolseva Foundation, we value the trust and support of every donor. As a non-profit, Section 8 organization working for social welfare, transparency and donor satisfaction are extremely important to us. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which donations may be refunded or cancelled.

1. Donations Are Generally Non-Refundable

All donations made to Moolseva Foundation are treated as non-refundable, as they are immediately allocated to various welfare activities, campaigns, and urgent support programs.

However, in exceptional cases, a refund may be considered (details below).

2. Conditions for Refund Requests

A donor may request a refund only under the following circumstances:

  1. The donation was made by mistake (wrong amount, duplicate payment, etc.).
  2. Technical issues during payment that resulted in unintended transactions.
  3. Incorrect details or unauthorized payment, such as payment made using someone else's account without permission.
  4. Transaction error from the payment gateway or bank.

Important:
Refunds cannot be claimed for donations already utilized in projects or emergency assistance campaigns.

3. Time Frame for Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted within:

  • 72 hours (3 days) of the donation date.

After this period, donations may already be allocated to NGO programs, making refunds difficult.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, the donor must email us at:

📧 Moolseva@gmail.com

With the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Email ID
  • Phone Number
  • Donation Amount
  • Transaction ID / UTR Number
  • Reason for Refund Request

We may ask for additional verification for security and compliance purposes.

5. Refund Processing Time

If your refund request is approved, we will initiate the refund within:

  • 7 to 14 working days, depending on your bank/payment provider.

Refunds will be returned to the same payment method used for the original donation.

6. Cancellation Policy

Because donations are voluntary contributions, donors cannot “cancel” a donation once it has been successfully processed.

However, donors may request cancellation of:

  • Recurring monthly donations,
  • Auto-debit donation plans,

by emailing us 48 hours before the next scheduled payment.

7. No Refund for Campaign Allocations

Moolseva Foundation sometimes runs:

  • Critical need campaigns
  • Medical support campaigns
  • Food & cooking assistance drives
  • Child education and empowerment campaigns
  • Emergency relief activities

If your donation has already been allocated to any such urgent or welfare campaign, it cannot be refunded.

8. Incorrect or Incomplete Information

If a donor provides incorrect details during donation (email, phone, name, etc.), Moolseva Foundation is not responsible for donation confirmation errors. Refunds for such cases will be decided solely at the foundation’s discretion.

9. Tax Exemption (if applicable)

If the donation has already been issued a tax exemption receipt (80G/CSR receipt), the refund may not be possible unless legally required.
